BATF Group Vice President Zhang Zhenyuan and Director of the Information and Digitalization Center Deng Yunwen attended the event.
The "Dingge Awards" Digital Transformation Pioneer Rankings, co-hosted by Caijing Magazine and SAP, with Harvard Business Review as a core media supporter and academic backing from leading Chinese universities and research institutions, aim to spotlight exemplary cases of digital transformation and illuminate the innovative pathways for Chinese enterprises. After six years of development, the Dingge Awards have become a highly influential evaluation and exchange platform for digital transformation in China and a prestigious award in the field.
The 7th Dingge Awards in 2024, themed "Cloud Leadership and Business AI," attracted applications from over 200 enterprises. Following six months of rigorous evaluation and competition, BATF Group’s Integrated Supply Chain System Reform Project stood out among numerous digital transformation cases, receiving high recognition from the industry and ultimately earning the "2024 Dingge Award for Growth Pioneer in Digital Transformation." This honor underscores BATF Group's critical progress in the foundational aspects of digital transformation.
As a national high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production, marketing, and services, BATF has always regarded digital transformation as a core driver of high-quality development. In 2017, BATF initiated its digital transformation strategy and construction, adhering to a design philosophy of "group-wide integration, process standardization, unified operation, and digital empowerment." With a business-centric and efficiency-first approach, BATF has progressively transitioned from informatization to digitalization, accumulating significant achievements in the digital realm. After years of exploration and practice, BATF officially launched its Integrated Supply Chain System Reform Project in July 2023. The project spans 28 companies and 8 production bases, integrating 14 systems simultaneously, significantly enhancing BATF’s operational efficiency and management precision.
With the implementation of SAP, BATF established a one-stop IT integration platform centered on the S/4HANA ERP system. This marked the initial completion of BATF’s "542" IT strategic framework (comprising five major business systems, three management platforms, and two technical platforms). The framework seamlessly connects the entire value chain of R&D, manufacturing, and marketing while creating a robust backend, collaborative middle layer, and agile frontend through a three-tiered technical architecture. This integration enables interconnectivity across all business process nodes, providing digital transparency and early warnings. Supported by information technology, BATF has achieved intelligent production and digitalized management.
Digital transformation has become a widely recognized necessity and a "must-have" for enterprise management innovation. In the future, BATF will continue increasing R&D investment and leading industry transformation while deepening its digital and intelligent transformation. The company plans to further develop platforms for smart R&D, intelligent manufacturing, and digitalized supply chains, advancing toward full data integration, seamless connectivity, and sustainable green practices. By linking R&D, production, supply, marketing, and services through data, BATF aims to empower its high-quality development with digital capabilities, striving to become a leader in China’s economic growth and digital transformation.
