2025-08-19 14:06:08

On May 27, the 16th Gold Lacquer Award Ceremony and the 2025 China and International Coatings Enterprises & Distributors Summit, themed “Breaking the Cycle, Creating a New Future in Coatings,” was grandly held at the Sheraton Chongqing Hotel. The event attracted representatives of leading domestic and international coating companies, experts, scholars, and elites from across the industry chain. Relying on its innovative technology and contributions in the raw materials sector, BATF Group was awarded the title of “Outstanding Raw Material Supplier of the 16th Gold Lacquer Award.” This marks the sixth consecutive time that BATF Group has received this honor. BATF Group’s corporate consultant and senior industry expert Shi Qinglin, as well as BATF Group CHO Ding Rui and other leaders, were invited to attend the award ceremony.

Known as the “Oscars of the Coating Industry,” the Gold Lacquer Award aims to recognize enterprises and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the high-quality development of the industry. This year’s awards covered more than ten categories, including Industry Leaders, Outstanding Brands, and Raw Material Suppliers. BATF Group stood out from numerous competitors, becoming a benchmark enterprise in the raw materials field. This honor not only affirms its achievements in raw material product development and supply service capability but also highlights the company’s core value in promoting technological upgrading and sustainable development within the industry, injecting new momentum into its brand influence and market competitiveness.

During the conference, a major forum under the theme “Breaking the Cycle, Creating a New Future in Coatings” was held. BATF Group’s corporate consultant and senior industry expert Shi Qinglin served as the moderator, together with entrepreneurs from Fustar, Morning Paint, and other enterprises, to deeply discuss industry breakthrough strategies. The entrepreneurs expressed that companies should shift from scale expansion to optimizing profits and cash flow, focusing on cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and strategic focus. At the same time, while taking advantage of policy dividends, companies should avoid blind conformity and instead build competitive barriers through differentiated and high-end layouts in segmented markets. By replacing price wars with value-based competition, and by enhancing product quality, service capabilities, and customer experience, sustainable growth can be achieved. The discussions provided pragmatic strategies and transformation directions for the industry to face challenges, leaving much for reflection.

In the Art Coatings Forum session, BATF Group CHO Ding Rui served as the moderator, engaging in in-depth dialogue with entrepreneurs and executives from Carpoly, Dazheng Caiyi, Kapably, Vaco, Montaigne, and others around the theme “The Blossoming of Art Coatings, A World of Color.” The forum focused on the current state and breakthrough paths of the industry. The entrepreneurs stated that the art coatings market is still in its growth stage, and healthy competition is needed to jointly expand the category scale. Facing challenges of “involution,” the industry should strengthen service value and differentiation capabilities, improve delivery standards and technical strength to seize the market, and at the same time meet consumer demands at different levels to enable brand coexistence. Furthermore, promoting coordinated optimization strategies between manufacturers and distributors can help drive healthy industry expansion. The discussions were pragmatic and constructive, providing the audience with deep insights.

As a leading enterprise in the coatings raw material field, BATF Group has always taken technological innovation as its core driving force. Through low-carbon technology research, standardized process upgrades, and digital service system construction, it continues to consolidate its industry-leading position. Winning this award and participating deeply in the forums reflect BATF Group’s commitment to keeping pace with the urgent market demand for environmentally friendly materials and industry policy directions, helping customers enhance product competitiveness through research and innovation. Facing the new industry cycle, BATF Group will take this as an opportunity to deepen collaborative innovation with upstream and downstream partners, providing greener and higher-quality solutions for global users.

The 16th Gold Lacquer Award was not only a grand industry event but also a collision of ideas for breaking barriers and embracing renewal. Looking ahead, BATF Group will continue to leverage its innovation advantages, devote itself to developing cutting-edge technologies, and create more environmentally friendly raw materials to inject continuous momentum into the industry. At the same time, it also hopes to work hand in hand with industry peers to jointly paint a new chapter of high-quality development in the coatings industry.
