BATF Group Advances to 55th Place in the 2023 Top 100 Private Enterprises in China's Petroleum and Chemical Industry

From October 16th to 17th, the inaugural China Petroleum and Chemical Private Economy High-Quality Development Conference, jointly organized by the People's Government of Binhai New Area in Tianjin and the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, took place in Binhai New Area, Tianjin. The event gathered leaders from national ministries, the Tianjin municipal government, the Petrochemical Federation, key provincial and municipal government departments overseeing the petroleum and chemical industry, as well as industry association executives. Representatives from relevant departments in Tianjin, leaders of Binhai New Area, leaders of national private enterprises in the petroleum and chemical industry, leaders of small and medium-sized enterprises, researchers from petrochemical institutions, and representatives from investment and financing institutions and consulting firms also attended the conference.

This conference served as a significant industry gathering to review the development of private chemical enterprises, consolidate industry consensus, and promote the upgrading and development of the private economy in the sector. The event not only hosted the closed-door meeting of the first China Petroleum and Chemical Central Enterprises, State-owned Enterprises, and Private Enterprises High-Level Cooperation Forum but also featured a main forum and four sub-forums. The discussions comprehensively analyzed the new situation of high-quality development for outstanding enterprises and proposed new tasks to accelerate the development of new chemical materials. The conference focused on stimulating innovation, project collaboration, and fostering the cooperation and development of central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and private enterprises.

At the main forum, authoritative reports were released, including the "2023 Analysis Report and List of the Top 100 Private Enterprises in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry (by sales revenue)" and the "Analysis Report on Single Champions, Specialized and Innovative Enterprises in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry for 2023." Representatives of the top 100 private enterprises in the petroleum and chemical industry for 2023 were awarded bronze medals.

Private economy has become a driving force in the petroleum and chemical industry, with the emergence of a group of large enterprises, single champions, and specialized and innovative enterprises. These entities not only possess strong financial capabilities but also demonstrate a significant increase in technological innovation. Currently, the non-public economy accounts for over 60% of China's petrochemical industry, with private enterprises representing over 90% of industry-scale enterprises. Moreover, in terms of single champion demonstration enterprises and champion product private enterprises, the proportion is over 80%. This year, the operating income of the top 100 private enterprises accounted for 28% of the industry's total operating income, and profits accounted for 30%. These top 100 private enterprises have maintained continuous growth in operating income, profits, and total assets for eight consecutive years, maintaining a high industry share and showcasing strong development resilience and vitality.
